The Truth About Artificial Sweeteners


I don't care how bland you feel your food is, DO NOT USE FAKE SUGARS IF YOU CAN HELP IT. I know many clients who abused their intake of artificial sweetener before they read more about it. One woman I know in particular actually ate 120 artificial sweetener packets a day. Her withdrawal symptoms were horrifying. Things like Nutra-sweet, aspartame and saccharine are not natural chemicals; they are drugs. Drugs that when the temperature of exceeds 86 degrees F, as inside the body at 98 degrees, coverts into formaldehyde and then to formic acid.

Formic acid is the same poison found in insects. This in turn causes metabolic acidosis. The methanol toxicity that ensues mimics the symptoms of multiple sclerosis. It's partially the wood alcohol in these sweeteners that is the problem. There have been cases where people's trembling sensations are ceased, and vision or hearing is returned when they stop using these things to sweeten their foods. If you suffer from any disease symptoms, spasms, pains, numbness, cramps, dizziness, headaches, depression, anxiety, slurred speech, blurred vision, or memory loss, then you need to stop using artificial sweeteners whether you think it is related to them or not.

What's sad is that since word is out how bad these things are for you, the sugar industry has even added newer forms of aspartame to our foods but renaming it and labeling them as safer alternatives! If they aren't harmful to begin with, how can you label something as SAFER? Something is either safe or it isn't. If you say SAFER, you are implying that before, it wasn't safe enough! Sounds like an admission of guilt!

Maybe nothing can be done to stop the distribution of these sweeteners but we can however refuse to eat anything that contains them. I personally stopped drinking regular decaf coffee because bleaches and formaldehyde is used to remove the caffeine. I am not a caffeine junky. But I do like coffee and want to avoid the formaldehyde. Ever have a cup of decaf and suffered a little 'night' blindness or blurred vision? That was the formaldehyde.

The methanol in the aspartame converts to formaldehyde in the retina of the eye as well. Formaldehyde is grouped in the same class of drugs and poisons with cyanide and arsenic. This is why it is causing all kinds of neurological problems even in lower doses. Aspartame actually changes you're body's chemistry. I used to tell people to limit their intake when I first start working with them just so they will cut back but now that I know the truth, I demand you stop immediately.

If for no other reason, you should stop using artificial sweeteners because they are part of the reason you crave carbohydrates and you know extra carbs can and will make you FAT. And how about that UGLY and hard to reach fat we all despise known as cellulite? Formaldehyde is stored in those fat cells, particularly the ones in the hip and thigh areas. You know; those same areas that just so happen to be cellulite prone. You like carrying around grotesque JELLO-LIKE, CELLULITE?

These sweeteners are also bad for diabetics and yet sugar free products are pushed on them like, well, candy. The number one problem is memory loss in diabetics using artificial sweeteners. The memory loss is due to the aspartic acid and phenylalanine used to make the sweeteners which are neuro-toxic to a diabetic without all the other amino acids present at the same time. It goes past the blood brain barrier and eventually deteriorates your neurons causing seizures (the phenylalanine used to make these sweeteners also depletes serotonin, which causes manic depression, panic attacks, rage and violence).

MONSANTO, the manufacturer of aspartame, knows how deadly it is. The recent funding of the American Diabetes Association, American Dietetic Association, Congress, and the Conference of the American College of Physicians is nothing more than high price advertising.

What is the solution for a sweet tooth? You might turn to Stevia, a natural food sweetener, which also helps in the metabolism of sugar. For years, the F.D.A. had outlawed Stevia because of their loyalty to Monsanto, but to quiet people down, they are allowing the opportunity to get some. Personally, there is too much evidence that sweetened proteins digest like carbs and end up making people fat. I prefer getting my sweets from fresh fruits. Maybe you should too

So, from now on, if it says "SUGAR FREE" on the label, you might not want to buy it! If it says "FAT FREE", read the label. People like EAS and Met-rx are poisoning you with artificial sweeteners, hydrogenated oils and cheap ingredients but do not even care.

Most people think modern medicine has all the answers. This unfortunately is very far from the truth. New research is done everyday that proves medicine wrong. The key to good health is within each and every single one of us. We have just yet to find out what we need to know in order to become our very best.
